Blog Post: Great palaces of the world

Ah, home sweet home. For Napoleon, it was Versailles. For the Hapsburgs in Vienna, it was Schonbrunn. In Moscow, Czar Nicholas I kicked back in the royal apartments of the Grand Kremlin. Today, these palatial homes are throwbacks to another time and are fascinating to visit if only to see the sheer luxury in which their owners lived.

Some of the palaces eventually became seats of government, others became museums (think the Louvre). A couple are even still working palaces.
