Anyone who has ever flown in a plane has an airport in mind that tops the list of World’s Worst Airports. The crowds, bad services, bad smells, terrible signage, endless confusing terminals -- the reasons to hate an airport (any airport) are many. Ask anyone who got stuck in Heathrow over the holidays.
Freelance writer Eric Lucas, a frequent world traveler who knows a lot of airports firsthand -- for better or worse -- recently compared top airports worldwide and consulted an ad hoc panel of frequent world travelers. He also looked at statistics on which airports get the worst weather and have the longest delays. The result is a new Bing Travel slide show: The Worst Airports in the World.
